Urban dwellers, often unable to acquire access to “real gardens” for lack of social and/or economic capital are often quite aware of these sorts of “miracles”. Seeds will germinate in the oddest places, plants will grow in rubbish and on abandoned lots, in a crack in the sidewalk.
